The Supreme Court collegium had recommended his transfer on August 28, after rejecting his request for re-consideration.
Justice Rawal started practice of law in 1986. He was designated as Senior Advocate on 8 May 2012.[3] He had a short stint in the office of Advocate General, Punjab as Additional Advocate General.
He was elevated as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court on 25 September 2014[4][5] and thereafter he was appointed as Permanent Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court on 23 May 2016.
