The Central Government has notified the elevation of Wanlura Diengdoh, Judicial Officer, as a Judge of the Meghalaya High Court. His appointment will take effect from the date he assumes office.

His name was recommended as such by the Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on October 15.

Diengdoh joined judicial service in the year 2000 as an Additional District and Sessions Judge. He is currently serving as a District and Sessions Judge in the region of East Khasi Hills. He has also held the position of Registrar General of the Meghalaya High Court.
