Centre Notifies Appointment Of 10 Additional Judges Of Allahabad High Court As Permanent Judges

The Centre has notified the appointment of 10 additional judges of the Allahabad High Court as permanent Judges. They are:

(i) Justice Sanjay Kumar Pachori,

(ii) Justice Subhash Chandra Sharma,

(iii) Justice Subhash Chand, [As judge, Jharkhand High Court; Parent High Court: Allahabad HC]

(iv) Justice Smt. Saroj Yadav,

(v) Justice Mohd. Aslam,

(vi) Justice Anil Kumar Ojha,

(vii) Justice Smt. Sadhna Rani (Thakur),

(viii) Justice Syed Aftab Husain Rizvi,

(ix) Justice Ajai Tyagi, and

(x) Justice Ajai Kumar Srivastava-I

A notification issued in the regard states thus:

"In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri Justices (i) Sanjay Kumar Pachori, (ii) Subhash Chandra Sharma, (iii) Subhash Chand, (iv) Smt. Saroj Yadav, (v) Mohd. Aslam, (vi) Ani! Kumar Ojha, (vii) Smt. Sadhna Rani (Thakur), (viii) Syed Aftab Husain Rizvi, (ix) Ajai Tyagi, and (x) Ajai Kumar Srivastava-I, Additional Judges of the Allahabad High Court, to be Judges of the Allahabad High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices."
