The Central Government has notified the elevation of three Judicial Officers as Judges of the Common High Court for Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

They are:

  1. Vinod Chatterji Koul, Chairman of the J&K Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal
  2. Sanjay Dhar, Registrar General of J&K High Court
  3. Puneet Gupta, Member of J&K Special Tribunal

They will assume charge of their respective offices in the above order of seniority.

The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended their elevation vide a resolution dated February 19.
