The Central Government has reappointed four law officers as Additional Solicitor General of India (ASGI) for four High Courts.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the re-appointment of following Law Officers as ASGI:

  1. Chetan Sharma has been re-appointed as ASGI at Delhi High Court w.e.f from July 1, 2023.
  2. Satya Pal Jain has been re-appointed as ASGI at Punjab & Haryana High Court w.e.f from July 1, 2023.
  3. Devang Girish Vyas has been re-appointed as ASGI at Gujarat High Court w.e.f from June 30, 2023.
  4. Dr. Krishna Nandan Singh has been re-appointed as ASGI at Patna High Court w.e.f from July 1, 2023.

The appointments shall be valid for a term of three years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, according to the government notification.
