The Bombay High Court has started uploading select judgements in a separate section on its website in Marathi.

The judgements are published with the disclaimer that they are meant only as study material for reference. For all other practical purposes, for citations and execution of orders judgements published in English should be used.

The judgements can be found under the heading of “Nivadak Nirnay” on the website. So far three judgements are available under this category. Two of these judgements are related to tax matters while one pertains to a preventive detention case.

On January 25, CJI DY Chandrachud had announced that the eSCR (Electronic Supreme Court Reports) would be providing Supreme Court judgements in various regional languages. Recently the Kerala High Court began publishing judgements in Malyalam.
