The Allahabad High Court has further extended all the interim orders passed by it and by the courts subordinate to it, that expired subsequent to March 19, till July 10, 2020.
Further, orders of eviction, dispossession or demolition shall remain in abeyance and orders of anticipatory bail expiring on or before June 10, shall be extended till July 10.
Regular bail orders expiring on or before June 14 also stand extended till July 10.
The order has been passed by a division bench comprised by Justice Govind Mathur and Justice Ramesh Sinha in a suo moto case, to ensure that litigants do not suffer on account of their "inability to approach the Courts of law".
The High Court had earlier extended all orders till June 29, 2020 and the matter was to be taken up for review on June 30. However, the same being declared as a holiday, the court has decided the situation will be reviewed on July 6, 2020 and it is intimated that all interim orders, etc. will remain in force until July 10.
"Wherever the date is shown as "29th June, 2020" in the directions issued on 8th June, 2020 be read as "10th July, 2020"," the order states.
