AILET 2020 To Be Conducted On August 18 Via Remote Proctoring [Read Revised Notice]

The National University, Delhi (NLUD-D) has issued a "revised" admission notice, in terms of the order of the Delhi High Court directing a stay on 50% domicile reservations introduced by the University.
The seats matrix in the revised notice is in consonance with the academic year 2019-20, reserving 15% seats for Scheduled Caste candidates, 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribe candidates, and 5% seats for Persons with Disabilities. Supernumerary seats for Kashmiri migrants and Residents of Jammu & Kashmir will also be reserved.
Further, in view of the current situation of Covid-19 in the country, the All India Law Entrance Test 2020 (AILET 2020) for admissions to NLU-D will be conducted on August 18, 2020 from 11.00 am to 12.30 pm as "Remote Proctored Test" (RPT).

RPTs allow candidates to take test from the safety and comfort of their homes, and they are monitored through a web camera to ensure the integrity and validity of the test. Before the test, the National Testing Agency will provide the detailed information and guidance to the aspirants for which two webinars & one mock test for the AILET 2020 will be conducted by NTA. The schedule of the webinars & mock test will be notified shortly.
Withdrawal of candidature
In view of the change in the reservation policy & seat matrix and further change in the mode of conducting the examination, the University has decided to allow the option of withdrawal to the candidates for admission to B.A.LL.B.(Hons), LL.M. and Ph.D. Programmes.
