The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), New Delhi is now ready to start e-filing of applications, petitions, appeals, replies, etc.
In this regard, concerned Advocates, Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, Cost Accountants and other stakeholders have been requested to attend a presentation on e-filing by officers of the NIC on October 23.
The presentation will be held at 4 pm at the Conference Hall, ground floor, Block-3, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
The Central Government had constituted NCLT under Section 408 of the Companies Act, 2013 with effect from June 1, 2016. It is a quasi-judicial authority incorporated for dealing with corporate disputes that are of civil nature arising under the Act.
In the first phase, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has set up eleven NCLT Benches— one Principal Bench at New Delhi and ten Benches at New Delhi, Ahmadabad, Allahabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Gauhati, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.
