RGNUL Initiates Career Counselling Seminar Series Achievers Speak

Public Relations, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab has initiated career counselling seminar series Achievers Speak. Prof. G.S. Bajpai, Vice-Chancellor, RGNUL said, "Achievers Speak would enable RGNUL students and learners to interact with experts. It would provide guidelines to students for a sharpened response to a volatile technology, society and workplace. RGNUL recognizes the importance of counselling students for new generation ideas and fulfilment of goals."

The series commenced with judiciary special session. Mrs. Supreet Kaur, Additional Civil Judge Senior Division cum Judicial Magistrate First Class cum Principal Magistrate Juvenile Justice Board, Kapurthala delivered a talk on "How to Prepare for Judicial Service Examination?" Prof Anand Pawar, Registrar, RGNUL, in his welcome address said, " Guidance by achievers supports growth and development of students while nurturing ambitions in the right way." Dr Navleen Multani, Assistant Professor in English and Public Relation Officer, RGNUL observed, "Human counselling surpasses the bot-based systems and is conducive for synergizing the students."

While addressing the students, Mrs. Supreet Kaur said, "Judiciary is one of the best career options for law graduates. Hard work, commitment and discipline play a great role in shaping one's career." She elaborated on the examination pattern. She emphasized on the importance of regular self-study and role of good guidance in providing the right direction. She also took up the queries from aspirant's of judiciary. Panelists, Dr Jasleen Kewlani, Assistant Professor of Sociology; Dr Sangeeta Taak, Assistant Professor of Law and Dr Basant Singh, Assistant Professor of Law, also interacted with the students. Prof. Naresh Kumar Vats, Dean Academics, RGNUL extended a vote of thanks. 150 students from BA.LL.B (Hons.) and LL.M attended the seminar.
