The Savitri Ambedkar Phule Caravan('SPAC') and Law and Society Committee ('LawSoc') from the National Law School of India University Bangalore are student committees that have been engaged in bringing issues relating to marginalized groups into a popular discourse on campus.
In pursuit of the same, they are organizing a lecture series on the theme ‘Reading Reservation’. The motivation behind the series is to familiarize law students as well as students of other disciplines with jurisprudence around the topic of reservation in India.
The first lecture of the series is scheduled for 11th April from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The speakers are Professor Jadumani Mahanand and Professor Sundar Sarrukai.
