Justice Ashok Kumar Jain, Justice Shekhar Yadav, And Prof. Ashutosh Mishra Receive Global Prestige Award 2024
On September 18th, Justice Ashok Kumar Jain, Judge of the Rajasthan High Court, Justice Shekhar Yadav, Judge of the Allahabad High Court, and Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Mishra, Dean and Head of Department at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Law University, were honored with the Global Prestige Award 2024 at the Attlee Hall, House of Lords, UK Parliament.
The award was presented by notable figures including Lord Bellamy KC, the former Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice; Lord Bailey, Member of the London Assembly; and Lord Rami Ranger CBE, Member of the House of Lords.
Justice Ashok Kumar Jain, also the former Member Secretary, National Legal Service Authority (NALSA) has greatly worked towards promoting Access to Justice.
Justice Shekhar Yadav has been involved as an advocate for social transformations and has expressed displeasure as the Judge to Allahabad High Court on multiple occasions and directed for state police to probe into Cow Slaughter cases registered as F.I.R. under the U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955.
Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Mishra, Dean & Head Of Department, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat has previously directed The 3rd International Conference on Mediation as the Conference Director organised by the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, The Delhi School of Public Policy & Governance, Institution of Eminence, University of Delhi in collaboration with the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee, The Supreme Court of India in 2022 which was attended by over 15000 Judges from all around the globe.
