The IDIA Jharkhand Chapter, in collaboration with S&A Law Offices LLP, successfully organized the IDIA-S&A Law Offices Memorial Drafting Competition 2024. This competition brought together law students from across the country, showcasing exceptional talent in legal research, analytical reasoning, and persuasive drafting. With a total of 276 registrations from different law colleges across India, the competition highlighted the widespread interest and participation in legal excellence.
The IDIA Jharkhand Chapter is part of a nationwide initiative dedicated to increasing access to legal education for underprivileged students. Through awareness programs, free training for law entrance exams, and financial aid, the chapter helps students from marginalized backgrounds gain admission to premier law schools. The chapter also organizes events like this competition to raise funds and promote diversity in the legal profession.

Competition Highlights
The IDIA-S&A Law Offices Memorial Drafting Competition 2024 was centered on a challenging problem in contract law. Participants showcased their skills by drafting memorials for both the petitioner and respondent, with evaluation criteria including legal knowledge, research, clarity, and writing style.
