Record Participation In IDIA Rajasthan Essay Competition Raises ₹2.5 Lakhs

The IDIA-ICUL Essay Writing Competition, organized in collaboration with the NLUJ Law Review, has been a significant milestone for the Rajasthan Chapter of IDIA and a proud achievement for the organizers. With over 600 registrations from law schools across India, the competition raised over INR 2.5 lakhs, setting a new benchmark for IDIA chapters nationwide. This overwhelming response reflects the growing passion for legal writing and research among law students, providing a valuable platform for engaging with contemporary legal issues in an intellectually stimulating manner.

The event was sponsored by IC Universal Legal which played a significant role in the execution of the event. ICUL's consistent backing of legal education and diversity initiatives within the legal field has been an important factor in ensuring the event's success.

All the entries were evaluated through a three-layered review process undertaken by the IDIA Rajasthan Chapter. The dedicated team of reviewers worked tirelessly to maintain the high standards of the competition.

Winners and Runners-Up:

• Winners: Mathanki Narayanan & Shrinithi – Jindal Global Law School

• 1st Runners-Up: Aprameya Sheshadri & Anirud Raghav – National Law School of India University, Bengaluru

• 2nd Runners-Up: Shereen Moza – Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL)

These essays stood out for their analytical depth, creativity, and thorough understanding of legal frameworks, making them a testament to the participants' dedication to legal education and research.
