With the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing reliance on digital technology, National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU) is announcing the 3rd edition of the NLIU-Link Legal National Client Counselling Competition, being held virtually from the 16th to 18th October 2020.
The fundamental aim of this competition is to develop the counselling functions of a lawyer in a holistic manner, by providing a unique opportunity to have a deep insight into the behavioural aspects of counselling.
The competition is organised in collaboration with Link - Legal India Law Services, a leading full-service law firm established in 1999 with more than 200 counsels, including 32 partners spread across its offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Gurugram, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
This year 27 teams including NALSAR, GNLU, HNLU, NUJS, NUSRL, CNLU, and GLC, Mumbai are participating in the competition.
For the inaugural session of the 3rd edition, the Chief Guest was Hon'ble Justice Alok Verma, Retired Judge, MP High Court and the Guest of Honour was Mr. Anuj Trivedi, Partner, Link Legal India Law Services. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) V. Vijakakumar, Prof. (Dr.) Ghayur Alam, Dean, Undergraduate Studies and Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Yadav, Faculty-in-charge, NLIU Moot Court Association also graced the ceremony.
