The Chandigarh Law College, Mohali (CLC) has been successfully running both the Integrated 5 years courses and the Three years law course. The law curriculum provides for the semester system, where the students have two semesters each year.

The purpose of the Moot Court Competition is to give exposure to students pursuing a B.A.LL.B, B.B.A.LL.B, B.COM. LL.B or LL.B. degree courses to hone their advocacy skills and to provide a real litigation experience in doing cutting-edge research, presenting persuasive and cohesive arguments, and contributing to the development of jurisprudence in concerned areas of law.

ABOUT THE EVENT

After the success of the 1st Moot Court Competition, CLC is back with the  2nd  Moot Court Competition which will be organized from 8th – 9th November, 2024. The event will be marked by the presence of many luminaries in the field of law including Supreme Court judges, High Court judges and other renowned jurists.

ELIGIBILTY

All students duly enrolled and pursuing a full-time 3-year LL.B. program or a 5-year integrated LL.B. from the Institution/University recognized by the Bar Council of India or equally competent authority shall be eligible to participate in the competition. Each team shall comprise of three members (two speakers and one researcher).

The competition is open to all law students enrolled in undergraduate programs across India, and the registration fee is Rs 3500/- per team Accommodation – 2500 Per Team for 2 days
