In addition to law teaching, the law school focuses on the development of skills for critical and prudential judgment to make aspiring legal minds great professionals, as the principal goal of legal education is formative rather than informative.
The 4th National Moot Court Competition, 2024 in association with AK Singh and Associates (Title Sponsor) 'ProBono India', 'International Institute of Justice and Police Science (IIJPS)', 'Global Academy of Law – Tech Education and Research (Galter)' and 'CyberGuru' (Knowledge Partners), stands as a flagship event of the School of Law and Justice. It focuses on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Law, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). AI has revolutionized legal services, from research to document analysis, raising questions about ownership and accountability. With AI's ability to create and modify content, issues like copyright infringement and identity theft have become prevalent. This competition addresses these contemporary challenges by emphasizing the legal implications of technology and copyright. Participants explore the complex dynamics between AI, law, and IPR, highlighting the need for legal frameworks to navigate the evolving digital landscape effectively.
