Karnataka State Bar Council Enrols Record 2,103 Advocates In A Single Day
In a significant milestone, the Karnataka State Bar Council has set a new record by enrolling 2,103 advocates in a single day since its inception in the year 1961. This mass enrolment, held in the premises of KSBC at Bangalore, marks one of the largest inductions of legal professionals in the country's history.
The newly enrolled advocates represent a diverse mix of fresh law graduates, retired personnel and some senior citizens from across the state.
During the ceremony, the Karnataka Bar Council Chairman, Vishal Raghu H.L emphasized the growing demand for legal professionals in the state and highlighted the council's commitment to maintaining high standards of legal practice. He also encouraged the new advocates to uphold the values of justice and integrity in their careers.
This record-breaking enrolment comes at a time when the legal sector is witnessing rapid growth, with increasing numbers of individuals pursuing law as a career. The Karnataka State Bar Council continues to play a pivotal role in regulating and supporting the legal profession in the state.
The event concluded with an oath by the newly inducted advocates to uphold the rule of law and contribute to the betterment of society through their legal expertise.
Officials in attendance included Vishal Raghu H.L., Chairman of the Karnataka State Bar Council; Vinay B. Mangalekar, Vice Chairman; Rajanna R., Chairman of the Enrolment Committee; and Madhusudhan M.N., Member of the Enrolment Committee, as well as other representatives from the Karnataka State Bar Council.
