Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) is a premier law school located in Visakhapatnam, established by the Andhra Pradesh Government under the DSNLU Act, 2008. The university is recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and offers a wide range of academic programs, including a five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), a one-year LL.M. with specializations, and doctoral degrees. DSNLU focuses on providing high-quality legal education and emphasizes clinical aspects to deliver world-class education and research.
The 1st Edition of "Shri D.V. Subba Rao National Mediation Competition, 2024" is scheduled from 20th to 22nd September, 2024. Justice Shri J.K. Maheshwari of the Supreme Court of India unveiled the Brochure and Rule Book of the event on 19th August 2024 in the DSNLU campus. This event is designed to offer law students hands-on experience in mediation, a vital skill in legal practice. Participants will engage in realistic scenarios and be evaluated by experienced judges and mediation experts from across the country. The competition aims to foster the next generation of mediators and negotiators.
Registration Process
- Provisional Registration: Opens on 1st August 2024 and closes on 22nd August 2024. Universities can register a maximum of two teams provisionally.
- Final Registration: Must be completed by 30th August 2024 after provisional registration. The registration fee is ₹7,500 per team, which includes accommodation and food
