RGNUL-SAM Conclave: Call For Submissions On Emerging Trends In Insolvency And Bankruptcy Laws
The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab (RGNUL) is an autonomous National Law University (NLU) established by the RGNUL Act (No. 12 of 2006). Established in 2006, RGNUL has garnered a pan-India reputation as a stellar institution for legal research and education. The University has been ranked amongst the top law schools in India in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), by the Union Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The RGNUL Financial and Mercantile Law Review (RFMLR) is a bi-annual, student-run, double-blind peer-reviewed law journal published by RGNUL, Punjab. The journal was first published in the year 2014 and gives an opportunity to the legal academia, legal professionals, and law students to contribute cutting-edge doctrinal and empirical research in the field of business and commercial laws. The Journal is indexed on SCC Online and Manupatra and has been consistently ranked amongst the top 10 most accessed law school journals by SCC Online.

The 4th Edition of RGNUL-SAM Conclave on Emerging Trends in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws
Insolvency and bankruptcy laws constitute a formidable domain within the legal landscape, characterized by its dynamic nature and technical intricacies. This legal sphere constantly evolves, responding to the ever-changing dynamics of financial distress and corporate restructuring. In recognition of these factors, the RGNUL-SAM Conclave will serve as a platform for the initiation of insightful discussions on the emergent trends in insolvency and bankruptcy laws in India. The Conclave aims to foster a nuanced discourse on pressing issues within this expanding domain, offering innovative solutions that address the concerns of various stakeholders involved.
Call For Papers
The RFMLR Editorial Board invites law students from across India to submit research papers on the theme of Emerging Trends in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws. Accepted papers will be presented before a panel of legal experts from SAM & Co., and other industry professionals during the Paper Presentation Session.

Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be in English and range between 3000-6000 words, excluding footnotes and the abstract.
- Co-authorship is allowed with a maximum of two authors.
- The submission must be original, unpublished, and adhere to OSCOLA citation style.

Expert Panel Discussion & Paper Presentation
The Conclave will commence with an Expert Discussion on Emerging Trends in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws, featuring esteemed professionals from SAM & Co, along with other industry experts. The subsequent session will feature a Paper Presentation, following an initial review of the submissions, selected authors will be invited to present their research before experts from SAM & Co during the Paper Presentation Session.
