Sinha & Co. Comes Together With S. Majumdar & Co, Forms JV, Majumdar & Sinha.
Headquartered in Kolkata, with an office in the National Capital Region, Sinha & Company, Advocates the three-decade old full-service disputes law firm announced its intention to foray into the realm of intellectual property ("IP") litigation before courts in India. To effectuate this expansion, the firm spearheaded by Mr. Paritosh Sinha, has entered into a joint-venture agreement with S. Majumdar & Co – a reputed IP law firm – to set up an independent entity under the aegis of 'Majumdar & Sinha, IPR Lawyers'.
While both the firms will continue to retain their independent identity and will cater to their clientele as they did before for all other subject-matters, all IP related litigation and work will be handled by the newly established entity. Opining on the first-of-its-kind law firm in Kolkata, Mr. Paritosh Sinha, the CEO and Managing Partner of Sinha & Company, Advocates remarked:

The joint-venture firm broke ground and announced its entry into the legal market by hosting a reception at the Bengal Club in Kolkata on Sunday, 26 June 2022.
