The other members of the committee includes Senior Advocate Fali Nariman, Principal of Lady Shri Ram College and a political scientist Meenakshi Gopinath, , Former chief election commissioner S Y Quraishi , Padma Bhushan-awardee and educationist Mrinal Miri , Former chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh Kaki Madhava Rao and senior journalist and Political commentator H K Dua.
Justice K.T.Thomas was a Judge of the Supreme Court from 1996 t0 2002. . He was conferred with Padma Bhushan in 2007. He had delivered judgments in many sensational cases including Rajiv Gandhi assassination Case.
