Essential Qualification and Experience
Joint Director (Research)
• Officers under the Central Government, the State Government, Union territories, autonomous or statutory organisations. Public Sector Undertakings, Universities or recognized Research Institutions:
• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; and
• Master of Laws from any recognized University:
• Masters' in Political Science or Sociology or Social Work or Economics or Human Rights or Psychology or Population Studies or Criminology from a recognized University;
• Five years' research experience in any of the above subjects in a recognized Institution or University.
Research Officer
• Officers of the Central Government, the State Government. Union territories, autonomous or statutory organizations. Public Sector Undertakings. Universities or recognized Research institutions
• Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department:
• Master's Degree in Social Science from a recognized University.
Desirable
• Degree in Law from a recognized university;
• Three years' research experience in any of the social science.
Research Assistant
• Officers of the Central Government, the State Government, Union territories, autonomous or statutory organisations, Public Sector Undertakings, Universities or recognized Research Institution
• Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department: Or
• With six years' service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in level-5 (Rs.29200-92300) in the pay matrix or equivalent or with ten years' service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in level-4 (Rs.25500-81 100) in the pay matrix in the parent cadre or department; and
• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
Desirable
• Minimum one-year research experience in any recognized University or recognized Research Institution.
• Degree in Law or Human Rights from a recognized university.

• Interested candidates are required to submit their application in the prescribed format and shall submit it to the Under Secretary (Estt.), National Human Rights Commission, Manav Adhikar Bhawan, Block-C, GPO Complex, INA, New Delhi-110023 latest by 60 days from the publication of the advertisement in Employment News i.e. 26.05.2022) alongwith attested photocopies of APARs for the last 05 years, Integrity Certificate and vigilance/disciplinary clearance.
