Essential Qualification and Experience

• MBA/MMS/CA/CS/CFA/LLB/Post Graduation with specialization in Finance, Economics, Computer Science / IT, Law, Commerce or any other discipline which in the opinion of the Authority is useful, from a recognized University / Institution with a minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience in dealing with activities relating to the securities market, banking, insurance, pension, financial products, financial services, financial institutions or special knowledge/experience of law, investigation, finance, economics, accountancy, administration or any other discipline.

• Deputation from Government, RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, PFRDA, Banks, Financial institutions and Academic institutions; and from other relevant organizations on contract basis, with not less than 20 years of experience in dealing with subjects relating to the securities market, banking, insurance, pension, financial products, financial services, financial institutions or special knowledge/experience of law, investigation, finance, economics, accountancy, administration or any other discipline considered useful to authority.
