Essential Qualification and Experience

Senior Public Prosecutor

• Officers of the Central Government / State Government / Recognized Research Institutions/ Universities / Public Sector Undertakings / Semi-Government / Statutory or Autonomous Organisation: (a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department, or (ii) With five years' service in the grade on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-3, Pay Scale of Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- or equivalent in the parent cadre / department, and

• Bachelor's degree in law from a recognised University with eight years' experience in Prosecution of Criminal Cases.

Public Prosecutor

• Officers of the Central Government / State Government / Recognized Research Institutions/ Universities / Public Sector Undertakings / Semi-Government / Statutory or Autonomous Organisation: (a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department, or (ii) With two years' service in the grade on regular basis in post in Pay Band-2, Pay Scale of Rs. 9300/- 34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department, and

• Bachelor's degree in law from a recognised University with Five years' experience in Prosecution of Criminal Cases.
