Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad invites applications for the post of Visiting Professor (Law) and Visiting Professor (Cyber Law & Cyber Security).

Name of the Post: Visiting Professor (Law) and Visiting Professor (Cyber Law & Cyber Security)

Essential Qualification and Experience

Visiting Professor (Law)

• Civil Service Officers of the State and Central Governments including retired officers and other eminent persons from academia, research etc.

• Eminent persons from outside Government should possess PhD in Law from a recognized University at the time of his/her appointment.

• Candidates who have completed all the formalities of their PhD programme in Law subject (submission of thesis) and are awaiting award of their Ph D. The condition should have at least five publications to her/his credit in renowned journals of her/his subject/domain.

• Besides, Government officers of the Central Government and State Governments including retired officers with a Master’s Degree in Law from a recognized University and 03 years of experience in the above subject.

• The serving officers will have to ensure that necessary permission and leave covering the period is obtained from the cadre controlling authority for this purpose.

Visiting Professor (Cyber Law & Cyber Security)

• Civil Service Officers of the State and Central Governments including retired officers and other eminent persons from academia, research etc.

• Eminent persons from outside Government should possess PhD in any domain of criminal law from a recognized University at the time of his/her appointment. Candidates who have completed all the formalities of their PhD programme in the said subject (submission of thesis) and are awaiting the award of their PhD. The condition should have at least five publications to her/his credit in renowned journals of her/his subject/domain.

• Besides, Government officers of the Central Government and State Governments including retired officers with a Master’s Degree in any domain of law or related fields from a recognized University and 03 years of experience in relevant subjects. The serving officers will have to ensure that necessary permission and leave covering the period is obtained from the cadre controlling authority for this purpose.
