Essential Qualification and Experience

• A person applying shall be a practicing advocate in the district of Hojai.

• The applicant must have completed (5) five years of practice in the Bar and must be a practicing advocate on the day of giving option for empanelment as a commissioner.

• A willing advocate shall give a declaration supported by an affidavit that there are no criminal or civil cases pending in any court nor any disciplinary proceeding is pending against him/her in any Bar Association within the state of Assam.
