Essential Qualification and Experience

• Completed at least the second year of study or graduated from a university programme in a related field such as law, psychology, sociology, or social work;

• Strong research skills;

• Excellent verbal and communication skills;

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills;

• Strong interpersonal skills like empathy and integrity;

• Ability to emotionally self-regulate;

• Ability to pick up and apply new skills quickly;

• Ability to think on your feet and adapt possible solutions as per the needs;

• Attention to detail;

• Is reliable and has the ability to communicate and work with a remote team;

• Ability to work with a trauma-informed lens (preferred, not required);

• Fluency in English (required) and Hindi (preferred).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Answering calls on the helpline and collecting case details and notes;

• Offering relevant support to individuals by providing information relevant to their case. This includes information about legal rights and remedies at the workplace; tips and guidance on self-advocacy, bystander intervention, and trauma-informed peer listening services;

• Conducting research for queries that come in via the helpline, as required;

• Updating the case management system as per the guide provided;

• Updating the work tracker and attending regular check-ins with the team, as required;

• Follow-up with the team to ensure timely closure of cases;

• Any other allied tasks as may be required.
