JCSL: Research Associate Programme (RAP), Volume II: Call For Associates
Journal on Contemporary Socio-Legal Issue (JCSL) is a student-edited peer reviewed interdisciplinary journal published online half-yearly by the JCSL Team. The Journal is expected to be a platform for the academicians and other experts from the legal fraternity to present their ideas. The Journal aims at addressing the current issues at hand in the areas of corporate law, media law etc and promote awareness amongst all, starting from legal professionals to layman. It aims to become a forum of interaction of eminent scholars and students and to encourage law students to develop their interest in various fields of the law.
Therefore JCSL announces the vacancies for Research Associates. The program requires conducting research and writing articles (3000 words per article, excluding footnotes) on various topics on law, which shall be notified in advance.

V. Constitutional Law and Administrative Law/ Media Law
VI. Property Law
VII. Cyber Law
VIII. Mergers & Acquisition
IX. International Law
X. Taxation Law
XI. Competition Law
XII. Environmental Law
- Law relating to Alternative Dispute Resolution
- Industrial Law/ Labor Law
Duration of work: The duration of work will be of 6months amongst which the first month would be probationary period.
Eligibility Criterion: Only law students (LL.B/LL.M/Ph.D (Law) or Legal Professionals) are eligible to apply.
How to Apply
Candidates willing to apply for the Research Associate position shall forward their Resume along with 1 sample write up on any of the above given areas of law along with a letter of recommendation from a professor at law from the respective university or college or from a practicing advocate, a jurist, or from an associate or partner in a law firm.
The sample write up should be according to the following format:
I. Not more than 3000 words (Exclusive of footnotes)
II. 19thBluebook citation method (Strictly adhere to the format)
III. Line Spacing (1.5 for main body; 1.0 for footnotes)
IV. Substantive footnoting is not permissible.
V. Abstract to write up of not more than 200 words
VI. Font Style – Times New Roman
VII. Font Size – (12 for main body; 10 for foot notes)
