NCLT Issues Circular For Free Wi-Fi Facility For Advocates, Litigants, And Other Stakeholders Of NCLT Benches Dated 29.04.2024

The Registrar of the National Company Law Tribunal (“NCLT”) has issued a circular dated 29.04.2024, intimating a free Wi-Fi facility for Advocates, litigants, and other stakeholders of NCLT Benches.
The said circular has been issued in compliance with the Hon'ble Supreme Court's Order in Writ Petition(s)(Criminal) No(s). 351/2023, titled “Sarvesh Mathur vs. The Registrar General High Court of Punjab and Haryana”.
1. The free Wi-Fi facility for Advocates, litigants, and other stakeholders of NCLT Benches has been launched on test mode via BSNL in the following Benches.
(i) New Delhi
(ii) Ahmedabad
(iii) Amravati
(iv) Chennai
(v) Chandigarh
(vi) Cuttack
(vii) Jaipur
(viii) Kochi
(ix) Kolkata
(x) Mumbai
(xi) Indore
2. Wi-Fi facilities will also be provided in test mode from 30.04.2024 at the following Benches:
(i) Allahabad
(ii) Guwahati
(iii) Hyderabad
(iv) Bengaluru
3. The Wi-Fi facility is available for testing in the Benches as indicated above. The circular requests to test the Wi-Fi facility and to share feedback at secretary@nclt.gov.in
4. The actual launch of free Wi-Fi services shall be done after clearance by the BSNL technical team.
5. The Draft Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for NCLT public wifi access has also been attached with the circular for kind information of the stakeholders which may be kindly taken note of.
