In a solemn ceremony held at Raj Bhavan on Saturday, Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar administered the oath of office to two newly appointed judges of the Patna High Court.

Justice Rudra Prakash Mishra and Justice Ramesh Chand Malviya, both elevated from the state's superior judicial services, took the oath, officially joining the esteemed judiciary of the Patna High Court.

Justice Mishra, who joined the state's superior judicial services in 2010, and Justice Malviya, who began his career in the Bihar judicial services in 1995 as a judicial magistrate, expressed their commitment to upholding the principles of justice and the rule of law.

With the addition of these two judges, the Patna High Court is now functioning at two-thirds of its maximum strength. The court has a sanctioned strength of 53 judges, with 19 seats remaining vacant.
