The Supreme Court Collegium comprising Chief Justice of India Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud, Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Justice Sanjiv Khanna, has recommended the names of five Judicial Officers for appointment as Judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.

In its resolution dated October 17, 2023, the Collegium stated that the Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court in consultation with his two senior-most colleagues made the recommendation, and that the Chief Minister and the Governor of the State of Madhya Pradesh have also concurred with the recommendations.

The five Judicial Officers recommended for elevation as Judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court are as follows:

(i) Shri Rajendra Kumar Vani,

(ii) Shri Pramod Kumar Agrawal,

(iii) Shri Binod Kumar Dwivedi,

(iv) Shri Devnarayan Mishra, and

(v) Shri Gajendra Singh.

The resolution further states that the inter se seniority shall be fixed as per the existing practice.
