The Kerala High Court has granted regular bail to K. Shuhaib, Founder and CEO of M. S. Solutions, booked for leaking State Board Class 10 Question Papers through his YouTube channel.

The Court had earlier denied his anticipatory bail plea, stating that leakage of question paper is like cheating a section of students. Shuhaib surrendered on the same day (6th March) and has been in custody since then.

He is accused of leaking question papers of Second Term Examination of 2023 and the First and Second Terminal Examination of 2024 through his YouTube Channel 'MS Solutions' under the name 'question prediction' way before the examination.

The complaint is that all the predicted questions came for the examination. It is alleged that he was able to predict the question paper because he got access to the actual question papers before the examination. The case is being investigated by the Crime Branch.

Shuhaib claims that the complaint against him is lodged due to professional rivalry and with the intention to divert attention from complaints of question paper leakage made against the tuition centre lobby and the office of the Education Minister. He contends that he had only predicted probable questions based on the previous question papers.

Justice P. V. Kunhikrishnan said Shuhaib has already been investigated by the IO, after getting his custody. The Court said that 'indefinite incarceration; is not necessary in this case.

Accordingly, bail was granted.
