The Central Government has issued a notification appointing the following two additional judges of the Karnataka High Court as permanent judges of the HC:

1. Justice Anant Ramanath Hegde

2. Justice Kannankuzhyil Sreedharan Hemalekha

Further, the centre has also extended the term of Justice Siddaiah Rachaiah, an additional Judge, for a period of one year wef November 8.

The SC Collegium, last month, recommended, that the above-named two additional judges of the Karnataka High Court be made permanent judges and Justice Rachaiah be given a one-year extension as an additional judge of the HC.
