75th Republic Day Celebrations Marked By Welfare Initiatives And Infrastructure Inaugurations At Gujarat High Court

The 75th Republic Day was commemorated at the Gujarat High Court with a series of events highlighting development, welfare initiatives, and the customary flag unfurling ceremony in the court's lawns.
Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal, alongside fellow Judges of the High Court, commenced the day with the flag unfurling and a salutation ceremony. Following this, a Medical Checkup Camp was inaugurated at the Medical Facility of the High Court, catering to the well-being of staff members and the esteemed members of the Bar.
The Medical Checkup Camp offered comprehensive health consultations and checkups, covering areas such as ENT, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Laboratory Investigation, Diabetes, and Hypertension. A total of 361 checkups were administered to staff, their family members, and members of the Bar, while an admirable 31 blood donations were received.
Under the auspices of the Health Department of the State Government, medical teams from Sola Civil Hospital, GMERS Medical College and Hospital in Gandhinagar, along with the High Court's Medical Facility team, provided expert services during the camp.
Encouraged by the success of these welfare initiatives and under the guidance of Chief Justice, it is envisioned to organize similar camps on all significant events at the High Court of Gujarat.
Post the aforementioned program, a virtual inauguration ceremony unfolded, celebrating the newly constructed Court Complexes for Taluka Courts across various districts in the state. The list includes the Taluka Court Building of Karjan in District Vadodara, Additional Court Building in Chikhli, District Navsari, Taluka Court Building in Khergam, District Navsari, Additional Court Building in Limbdi, District Surendranaagar, and Civil Court Building in Jhagadia, District Bharuch.
Furthermore, a virtual stone-laying ceremony marked the commencement of the construction for Taluka Courts in Waghai, District Navsari, and Taluka Court with residential quarters in Vaso, District Kheda.
In a significant moment, the virtual program also witnessed the unveiling of Mahatma Gandhi's statue at the District Court of Porbandar District. The Chief Justice, accompanied by fellow Judges, inaugurated these infrastructural projects, signifying a commitment to enhancing the judicial landscape in Gujarat.
