Justice Abhay Oka, Judge, Supreme Court inaugurated the Mega Legal Services Camp and Government Scheme Mega Fair at Saswad, district pune state Maharashtra emphasizing the importance of providing economic and social justice to citizens. The event was organized by the District Legal Services Authority, Pune, as per the guidelines of National Legal Services Authority.

Justice Oka stressed that the Constitution's preamble guarantees economic and social justice to all citizens, and it's essential to ensure that government schemes reach those in need. He noted that many government schemes are not benefiting the intended recipients due to a lack of awareness.

The event featured over 75 stalls from various government departments, providing information on schemes and services. Around 10,000 beneficiaries from five talukas - Baramati, Daund, Indapur, Bhor, and Saswad - benefited from the event.

Justice Oka also directed the District Legal Services Authority to follow up on the creation of Aadhaar cards for orphaned children from the Sindhutai Sapkal organization. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of ensuring that government schemes reach the intended beneficiaries.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Justice Revati Mohite Dere, Justice Sandeep Marne, Justice Arif Doctor and Principal District and Sessions Judge Mahendra Mahajan.

The event featured a mobile app launch, "Nyaydeep," and release of a booklet containing information on government schemes in Marathi and English.This type of mobile app has been launched for the first time in India, focusing solely on helping citizens access benefits under various NALSA and government schemes. The pamphlet also includes a QR code for easy access to detailed information.
