District Judge (Entry Level) Vacancy at Chhattisgarh Higher Judicial Service
Chhattisgarh Higher Judicial Service invites applications from the eligible candidates for the post of District Judge (Entry Level) in the cadre of Higher Judicial Service by direct recruitment from Bar.

Pay Scale: Rs. 51550-1230- 58930-1380-63070
Essential Qualification: No person shall be eligible for appointment by direct recruitment unless, he or she –
(i) is a citizen of India,
(ii) has attained the age of 35 years and has not attained the age of 45 years on the first day of January in the year in which applications for appointment are invited i.e. 01/01/2017, provided that upper age limit shall be relaxed upto a maximum limit of 3 years for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes;
(iii) Posses a degree in law of a university established or incorporated by or under a central Act or a State Act or an institution recognized by the U.G.C. or any other equivalent qualification .
(iv) has for at least seven years been an advocate as on 01/01/2017. In other words, the applicant must be practicing as on 01.01.2017 as an Advocate and must have so practiced for a period of not less than seven year as on such date.
(v) has good character and is of sound mind and body and free from any bodily and mental disability which renders him unfit for such appointment.
