Vasantrao Naik State Agricultural Extension Management Training Institute has invited applications from the eligible candidates for the post of Associate Professor-Law.

Age Limit: A) For Deputation – No age limit in case of serving candidate B) For Retired Persons – Maximum age limit is 65 Years. C) For Contract Basis – Up to 45 Years.
Eligibility

Applications are invited to fill the above mentioned posts by deputation from the persons who are working as Associate professor in these streams from Universities. Colleges and Research Institute in pay band of 37400-67000 GP 8700.
Duration of Deputation: 2 years and will be extendable subject to performance and consent both of candidate and his/her cadre controlling authority.
Process of Selection for Deputation: Application received till last date would be screened by a Selection Committee and based on 1)Length of Service 2)Experience and 3)Research and Publication record suitable candidates would be short listed. - Requirement for Retired Persons on contract basis
If the suitable candidate for the above mentioned post from the Regular service on deputation is not available then the Retired Personnel qualifying the above mentioned criteria can be considered.
Experience: Minimum 07 years Experience as a Associate Professor in Research and Training in a recognized University or Institute.
Other Requirement: Published books/papers on original work in relevant field.
Duration of Contract: 11 Months
Remuneration: For Retired persons, Last pay minus Pension plus DA as admissible will be paid during contract period - Requirement for Persons on Contract Basis
If the suitable candidate for the above mentioned post from the Regular service on deputation or Retired persons is not available then the suitable candidates on contract basis qualifying the above mentioned criteria can be considered.
Experience: Minimum 10 years Experience as a Associate Professor in Research and Training in a recognized University or Institute.
Other Requirement: Published books/papers on original work in relevant field.
Duration of contract: 11 Months
Remuneration: consolidated fix pay Rs. 46100/- PM for the contractual personnel.
Educational Qualification
- 1st Class or Higher 2nd Class Masters Degree with M.Phil or Equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline. Preference will be given to candidate having Ph.D.
- NET/SET is mandatory.
- At least 7 years relevant experience in Teaching/Research & Training out of which at last 5 Years in teaching preferably in a Govt. or Semi Govt. recognized Training Institute/College/University.
