    The Speakers

    Two distinguished speakers will lead upcoming webinars on April 27th and April 30th, 2024. The first session, titled "Space Wars: Weaponization of Space and Outer Space Laws," will be conducted by Professor Adithya Variath, Assistant Professor of Law and Coordinator at the Centre for Research in Air and Space Laws at NLU Mumbai, as well as Fellow at ISLC, University of Milan, Italy. With a wealth of expertise showcased through presentations at renowned institutions globally and notable publications such as 'An Introduction to International Law' and 'A Handbook of International Aviation Law,' Professor Variath is a respected figure in international legal circles. Additionally, he is a member of the International Academy of Space Law, Russia, and the founding Editor of the Indian Review of Air and Space Law.

    The second webinar, scheduled for April 30th and titled "Decoding Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR)," will feature Mr. Param Bhamra, Founding Partner at MediateGuru, a leading expert in International Arbitration. Mr. Bhamra's vast experience and dedication to advancing alternative dispute resolution (ADR) are evident through his mentorship of emerging law students and extensive contributions to the field. He specializes in international mediation and arbitration, with notable publications including "Mediation: Practices and Strategies in India" and "Arbitrating the Atmosphere." Beyond his scholarly pursuits, Mr. Bhamra actively engages in societal contributions, particularly in providing educational opportunities to underprivileged children, and serves as a judge in prestigious national and international ADR competitions. Affiliated with esteemed professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, Mr. Bhamra's expertise enriches the ADR landscape globally.
